2027 World Cup Qualifier : Big victory of Haiti over Anguilla [5-0] (video)

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, as part of the CONCACAF Women's Championship 2026, a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup, Haiti, playing at the Zami Stadium in Guadeloupe, secured a resounding 5-0 victory against Anguilla in Matchday 4.

Starting Lineup : Coach Pia Sundhage announced the starting eleven for the Grenadières who will face Anguilla in a crucial match for the top spot in Group D. While there were numerous tactical changes, the objective remains the same: to qualify for the 2027 World Cup.

Summary : The Grenadières secured a resounding 5-0 victory against Anguilla in the fourth round of the CONCACAF Women's Championship 2026 qualifiers.

The Grenadières dominated the match from the outset at Stade Roger Zami, dictating the pace of the game from start to finish and giving their opponents no scoring opportunities.

In the 15th minute, Darlina Joseph opened the scoring for Haiti [1-0] with a right-footed shot from the center of the penalty area, finding the back of the net after a decisive pass from Roseline Éloissaint.

Six minutes later, in the 21st minute, Chelsea Domond doubled Haiti's lead [2-0] from the center of the box, into the bottom right corner. In the 33rd minute, Sherly Jeudy extended the advantage, scoring Haiti's third goal [3-0] with a right-footed shot from outside the box into the bottom left corner.

After the break, in the 60th minute, Darlina Joseph headed home her second goal [4-0] from the center of the box into the bottom right corner, assisted by Chelsea Domond on a cross.

Claire Constant completed the scoring with a fifth goal in the 79th minute, heading home from close range [5-0] into the top corner, assisted by Sherly Jeudy on a cross from a set piece.

Statistics. Haiti : 84% possession, 21 shots, 7 shots on target (70% converted). In comparison, the Anguilla team failed to register a single shot (0 shots attempted) throughout the entire match.

Haiti temporarily leads Group D. This victory allows Haiti to control its own destiny. The ticket to the final tournament will be decided in the decisive match against the Dominican Republic on Friday, April 17. A draw or a win is enough for Haiti to qualify for the 2026 Gold Cup, the 2027 World Cup, and the 2028 Olympic Games. The Dominicans have no choice but to win to qualify.
